COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear supporters,

Like everyone, we are trying to come to terms with all that is happening around us.      

We have decided, after careful consideration and after speaking to our colleagues in Belarus, that we must cancel the children's visit to Wells due to take place at the beginning of July. As a hugely valued supporter of the Children of Chernobyl charity here in Wells, we felt we should contact you as soon as we made this decision.                  

We are all disappointed and I know that our host families will be particularly sad not to have the children from Belarus to stay with them this summer. We have briefly considered the possibility of inviting them over later this year, but this is impracticable, so we will be working hard to make next year's visit better than ever!

Our enormous thanks to everyone who supports us and I know you will understand our dilemma and disappointment at having to make this decision.
